Staffing consists of an Executive Director, Program Director, Director of Family Services, Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, four lead teachers, a teacher assistant, a Food and Nutrition Coordinator and approximately thirty volunteers. The staff child ratio is one-staff/four infants, one-staff/five toddlers, and one-staff/seven preschoolers, plus the several classroom volunteers.

Bethany joined Mom’s House in December 2023, bringing 15+ years of nonprofit management experience. Bethany has devoted her career to assisting underserved and at risk populations. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Bethany looks forward to assisting the families and communities we serve and growing the programs and services offered.

Jesula joined the Mom’s House team during the spring semester of April 2023 as our Program Director. She brings us nine years of experience in early childhood education. She completed her Bachelor of Science in child studies in November of 2022. Jesula is presently working towards her MSW. She looks forward to using her experience in childcare in her new position. She looks forward to supporting the families, staff, and volunteers.
Jesula is a mother of four boys when not working or completing schoolwork. She says they keep her busy with their sports and school extracurriculars. Her children are what motivate her and keep her going each day. During her spare time, Jesula enjoys activities that help her relax and helps with her mental health.

Jessica joined Mom’s House during the spring semester 2023. She attended Marywood University where she received her MSW in 2018. Prior to her own journey as a college student, she spent the years working with vulnerable populations, and raising her own four children. She is now helping to raise her 3 grandbabies and is anxiously waiting for her 4th. Jessica comes to Mom’s House with many years of personal and professional experience and is happy to join our family. She is excited to be able to support our parents and their children through one of the most important journeys in their lives.

As a Founding Mom’s House Board Member, Diane has been involved with Mom’s House since 1987. In her position, Diane works closely with the staff, clients, their children and the Mom’s House volunteers. She is usually the first point of contact for all visitor of Mom’s House.

ShainaRose has become an employee of Mom’s House as of March 2024. Ms. Anderson has an immense amount of experience working in the clerical and administrative field for more than ten years. She has twenty years of event planning experience and accumulative to that, has at least ten years’ experience in fundraising and community outreach. ShainaRose has over five years of experience in childcare, having worked at a daycare and afterschool program, caring for children that range from the ages of 1-13. Alongside working at our facility she is also continuing her education, studying for her degree in Business Management. She is dedicated to helping the lives of the less fortunate and is a very merciful and charitable woman. That being said, she is looking forward to working with Mom’s House and helping out with our mission.
Mary Gilroy
Food & Nutrition Coordinator
After joining the Mom’s House team in February 2020 as a Teacher’s Assistant, Mary became our Food & Nutrition Coordinator in 2021. She follows the CACFP guidelines as she prepares nutritious meals for the children. Mary comes to Mom’s House with many years of experience through raising her own children, being a caregiver for children in their home, mentoring in the Binghamton school district, and volunteering in a variety of areas.
Lynne Walck
Toddler Teacher
Lynne has been a Toddler Teacher at Mom’s House since 2000. She attended Dana College and SUNY Broome Community College and has received an Infant Toddler Credential. Lynne works closely with each child, enhancing their various developmental stages. As a mother of 3, Lynne has worked with children for many years at church as 6th grade Sunday School teacher, 7th grade confirmation teacher, vacation Bible teacher and directed Christmas plays. In addition, she also served as Sunday school and vacation Bible School coordinator.

Frey
Preschool Teacher
Elizabeth joined Mom’s House in 2019 as our younger Toddler Teacher, and now is working as our Preschool Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and several years of experience as a pre-kindergarten and elementary school teacher. Elizabeth’s gentle spirit embraces each child with love and guidance.

Jamie has been teaching in the Early Childhood filed for 9 years before joining us at Mom’s House. She has a degree in Early Childhood education. She is an aunt and great aunt to 11 as well as a dog and cat mom. Jamie enjoys the outdoor, holidays, and anything Disney related.
Miranda Perez
Infant
Supervisor
Miranda joined the Mom’s House team in August 2023 as an Infant Supervisor. She completed her Early Childhood Associate’s degree and student teaching in 2018. Miranda comes with great energy! She is compassionate, loving and great at connecting with children of all ages. She has lots of experience with children, especially after having four of her own. Miranda is truly thankful to be a part of the Mom’s House family.
Susan Lindley
Teacher Assistant
After volunteering at Mom’s House for eight years, Sue joined the team in January 2021 as a Teacher Assistant. Sue was a registered nurse for over 30 years. As a mother of eight children, and growing up in a family that fostered many children, she has considerable experience with caring for little ones. Sue brings her love for children and many gifts and talents to the program.
Gabriela Ferreiras
Facility Assistant
Gabriela joined Mom’s House in March of 2024 as a Facility Assistant. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Sociology and has since begun studying for her Master’s in Childhood Education. Gabriela has previous experience as an Early Head Start teacher, working with and caring for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years old. Gabriela has also become a first-time mom to a loving baby boy in late 2023! She is very friendly, kind, caring and compassionate... all being qualities we look for and want in our staff. Gabriela is excited and looking forward to being a part of Mom’s House and supporting our mission.
