Staffing consists of an Executive Director, Program Director, Director of Family Services, Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, four lead teachers, a teacher assistant, a Food and Nutrition Coordinator and approximately thirty volunteers. The staff child ratio is one-staff/four infants, one-staff/five toddlers, and one-staff/seven preschoolers, plus the several classroom volunteers.

Bethany joined Mom’s House in December 2023, bringing 15+ years of nonprofit management experience. Bethany has devoted her career to assisting underserved and at risk populations. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Bethany looks forward to assisting the families and communities we serve and growing the programs and services offered.

Nicole Joined Mom’s House in July 2024. Prior to coming to Mom’s House, Nicole was working with children as a school-aged childcare Program Director. She grew up in a big family, being the oldest of all sisters; Nicole has always had a passion for working with children. She is finishing her Bachelor's degree in Human Services at Southern New Hampshire University. When she is not working, she cares for her husband, two daughters, and her two labs. Her children tell her all the time, “You are the best mommy ever,” as she is involved in all the chaos in the house and looks forward to watching her babies grow up. Nicole is very excited to be taking on the role of the Program Director at Mom’s House to help not only the children but the parents in the program.

Rebecca joined Mom’s House in October 2024 with 15+ years’ experience working in childcare and with families. She has previously been a preschool teacher, the Director of a OCFS regulated Youth and Family Services program and has been a Family Resource Specialist. She has a degree in Liberal Arts and is certified in Trauma Informed Care. Rebecca is a mother of two teen boys and works to empower families by offering a variety of Creative Art groups in the community. She looks forward to supporting and getting to know all the children, families and is excited to be a part of the Mom’s House team.

She looks forward to supporting the Mom’s House mission with her many gifts and talents. Sheila has a heart to serve and welcomes the opportunity to make a difference in our community. She and her family loves the outdoors!

As a Founding Mom’s House Board Member, Diane has been involved with Mom’s House since 1987. In her position, Diane works closely with the staff, clients, their children and the Mom’s House volunteers. She is usually the first point of contact for all visitor of Mom’s House.
Mary Gilroy
Food & Nutrition Coordinator
After joining the Mom’s House team in February 2020 as a Teacher’s Assistant, Mary became our Food & Nutrition Coordinator in 2021. She follows the CACFP guidelines as she prepares nutritious meals for the children. Mary comes to Mom’s House with many years of experience through raising her own children, being a caregiver for children in their home, mentoring in the Binghamton school district, and volunteering in a variety of areas.
Lynne Walck
Toddler Teacher
Lynne has been a Toddler Teacher at Mom’s House since 2000. She attended Dana College and SUNY Broome Community College and has received an Infant Toddler Credential. Lynne works closely with each child, enhancing their various developmental stages. As a mother of 3, Lynne has worked with children for many years at church as 6th grade Sunday School teacher, 7th grade confirmation teacher, vacation Bible teacher and directed Christmas plays. In addition, she also served as Sunday school and vacation Bible School coordinator.

Preschool Teacher
Elizabeth joined Mom’s House in 2019 as our younger Toddler Teacher, and now is working as our Preschool Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and several years of experience as a pre-kindergarten and elementary school teacher. Elizabeth’s gentle spirit embraces each child with love and guidance.
Jamie Franco
Infant/Toddler Teacher
Jamie has been teaching in the Early Childhood filed for 9 years before joining us at Mom’s House. She has a degree in Early Childhood education. She is an aunt and great aunt to 11 as well as a dog and cat mom. Jamie enjoys the outdoor, holidays, and anything Disney related.
Miranda Perez
Teachers Assistant
Miranda joined the Mom’s House team in August 2023 as an Infant Supervisor. She completed her Early Childhood Associate’s degree and student teaching in 2018. Miranda comes with great energy! She is compassionate, loving and great at connecting with children of all ages. She has lots of experience with children, especially after having four of her own. Miranda is truly thankful to be a part of the Mom’s House family.
Gabriela Ferreiras
Infant Teacher
Gabriela joined Mom’s House in March of 2024 as a Facility Assistant. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Sociology and has since begun studying for her Master’s in Childhood Education. Gabriela has previous experience as an Early Head Start teacher, working with and caring for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years old. Gabriela has also become a first-time mom to a loving baby boy in late 2023! She is very friendly, kind, caring and compassionate... all being qualities we look for and want in our staff. Gabriela is excited and looking forward to being a part of Mom’s House and supporting our mission.
Brittney Ballard
Teacher Assistant
Brittney joined the Mom’s House Family in November 2024, as a Teacher Assistant. She enjoys working at Mom’s House during the day before she goes to her evening job. Brittney loves to be with family and friends as much as possible, she even has her autistic brother live with her. Brittney also has gotten engaged which will make her family even bigger. She likes to read romance or thriller books and her favorite color is pink.
